Gran Hotel La Florida review Rate it
From 1925 to the 1950s, this was Barcelona's grandest hotel, frequented by royalty and stars. It has lavish suites, private terraces and gardens, a five-star restaurant, a summer outdoor nightclub, and a luxury spa. Perched as it is on Tibidabo, La Florida offers bracing walks in the hills and breathtaking 360º views, especially from the jaw-dropping infinity pool (with a heated indoor part for winter dips). It's a good choice if you want to relax in opulent style and spend most evenings in the hotel. Getting a cab from town at night can be tricky.
