Located in a magnificent building north of the centre, this 214-bed hostel boasts an architectural edge, with many original features, including Modernista tilework, whimsical plaster carvings and stained-glass windows, not to mention the beautiful, peaceful gardens. Hostelling International cards are obligatory, but can be purchased here for €5 (under-29s) or €12 (over-29s).
