The Rembrandt is a charming 27-room hostal that is fairly stylish (for the price) with lots of wood panelling, soft lighting and a lift. A bonus is the pretty interior courtyard, which makes for a pleasant chill-out zone/eating area. Rooms out front can be a little noisy, but the passing stream of humanity means you will never be bored. If the Rembrandt is fully booked, bear in mind that the same people also rent out apartments on nearby C/Canuda (€75-€150 for two people, minimum three-night stay).
