A real find for lovers of character places and fans of Almodóvar-style chintz. Each room is individually decorated and rammed with antiques, be it an ornately carved wooden bedhead, a teardrop chandelier, a faux Louis XV dresser or a silken throw. All have en suite bathrooms and a little 21st-century gadgetry such as plasma TVs and free Wi-Fi, some have balconies and there is also a patio out back somewhat bizarrely planted with silk flowers.
