There was a lot of talk about the Fuster when it first opened. Many complained that this historic building should have been preserved as a public space. The famed Café Viennese answers that demand somewhat, though when a cup of tea costs €15 you won't find many locals drinking it. What is so appealing for the luxury end of the market, however, is the air of exclusivity that envelopes you on arrival. Service is spot on, rooms - while rather small - feel regal in their dove grey and purples, and there are fresh flowers every day. The rooftop pool has a jacuzzi area and truly spectacular views, while the gourmet restaurant has a clubby, insider feel.
