Following his 30th anniversary tour, Loquillo suprised his fans with 'La nave de los locos' (2012), an album where, against all predictions and after years of being at loggerheads with his former guitarist and composer, Sabino Méndez (also of Troglodytes fame), he's finally playing a number of songs by Méndez. It's a visceral work, full of sharp guitars and rock 'n' roll, that strays from the sophistication of 'Balmoral' (2008) and the maturity of his later works to get his rocker side out and set to work against the harsh reality around us. Now that we know that 'La nave de los locos' is one of his best studio efforts, we can hardly wait to see how these songs translate to a live show.
