Grec 2013: Liquid Trio & Joe Morris

Albert Cirera and Ramon Prats, who make up the group Duot, joined forces with Agustí Fernández in 2011 to form Liquid Trio, who have just released their first album under the same name. They share a musical aesthetic and training based on the development of improvisation as it is currently understood, that is, as a distant descendant of free jazz and a direct descendant of contemporary free improvisation. They'll be joined during this performance by a special guest from the other side of the pond – guitarist Joe Morris, a legend of contemporary jazz who has played with Fernández in New York and has recorded two albums with him.
