Sallie Ford & The Sound Outside

All the way from Oregon, this quartet, led by Sallie Ford, was hard to put into any one box in American rock music with the release of their second album, 'Dirty Radio' (2011), which was full of the sounds of rockabilly and soul. Now they're back with 'Untamed Beast' (2013), as they take another step forward in their career, leaving a bit further in the past their 'oldies' sound that tinged the songs on their earlier effort and embracing a bit more grown-up rock sound.
