Despite the DJ booth, live music is what the Harlem Jazz Club does best, so it's no surprise that it's a regular hangout for not-so-cashed-up musicians, buffs and students alike. A lot of local musical history has gone down at Harlem, and some of the city's greatest talents have emerged from here. Jazz, klezmer, funk and flamenco get a run in a venue that holds no musical prejudices.
