Guru has its eyes set on becoming the latest addition to the Raval bar scene's sleekification, but - palm trees and mood lighting aside - you can't help thinking that, with its white padded walls, it looks rather like a rest room for the suicidal. It hasn't yet achieved the exclusive status it's aiming for and, as such, cosmo-sipping, black-clad Parisians are still having to deal with gangs of tipsy Scousers hopping about to live salsa.
