La Font del Gat review Rate it
La Font del Gat is a welcome watering hole high on Montjuïc, between the Miró and ethnological museums. The small, informal-looking restaurant has a surprisingly sophisticated menu: ravioli with truffles and wild mushrooms, for example, or foie gras with Modena caramel. However, most come for the set lunch: start with scrambled egg with Catalan sausage and peppers or a salad, follow it with baked cod or chicken with pine nuts and basil, and finish with fruit or a simple dessert. Tables outside have a surcharge.
