Ginger manages to be all things to all punters: a swish art deco cocktail bar with comfortable buttercup yellow banquettes; purveyor of fine tapas and excellent wines; and, above all, a superbly relaxed place to chat and listen to music. Admittedly the
foreigner quotient has risen in recent years, but it would be short-sighted to dismiss this little gem of Barcelona nightlife for that.

I've been visiting Ginger for years and have never noticed an odd smell or unfriendly service (on the contrary, service has always been excellent). And for EUR 6,50 they do a darned good Bloody Mary. Recommended, but it does get busy late on.
Unfriendly establishment with an odd smell when you sit for too long. Wouldnt reccomend.
