Café del Centre review Rate it
The oldest in the Eixample, and possibly the only one of its type left in the city, with a delightfully dusty air, Modernista wooden banquettes, walls stained with the nicotine of ages and marble tables sitting on a chipped chequered floor that almost certainly dates back to the bar's opening in 1873. The Café del Centre is still in the hands of the same family, whose youngest members' attempts to instigate change don't seem to have progressed much beyond a list of fruit teas.
