Simply but edgily decorated with cascades of red 1950s lampshades and rusted iron balustrades, this Italian-owned café is a restful, sunny spot for breakfast, lunch or tapas, with tables outside on a quiet square. As well as a decent range of fresh fruit juices (try the Trifàsic, with carrot, pear and lemon), there are pastries, toasted sandwiches, pasta and salads.

Alongside Filferro's terrace tables is a playground to keep the little ones happy.
