El Piratas has now become a cult restaurant, thanks to people recommending it by word of mouth. A tiny Parisian-style bistro serving simple, traditional cuisine with a modern touch, and where the main feature is the quality and freshness of the ingredients. They specialise in cold dishes, cheeses, stews and desserts that leave the customers wanting more, and bringing their friends. Undoubtedly, part of the blame for this success is its location – right by the Catalonia National Theatre. And so it has become a haven for theatregoers.
