Teatre Lliure review

Under its young and dynamic director, Àlex Rigola, the Teatre Lliure's main and mini stage host an adventurous array of theatre and dance that occasionally spills on to the square outside. The 2009 programme promises works by prolific local playwright Lluïsa Cunillé and the wildly imaginative pianist Carles Santos. Resident dance company Gelabert-Azzopardi perform in 2009, as do Mal Pelo, in a collaborative piece with writer John Berger. Bigger theatre shows are surtitled in English on Thursdays and Saturdays.
