Calle is one of the last bars in Gemmayzeh before you hit Mar Mikhael, but it’s a great one to end on. Its wide-open front lets in plenty of air, making it a great place to hangout in on those hot summer evenings. With the bare stonewalls, Calle has a rustic sort of edge to it, but with that’s mixed together a few modern touches that create a friendly and welcoming ambience. Plenty of seating at the long bar, with additional table, and then also an upstairs section with more tables and chairs. If it does get too crowded, you can go onto the street outside. They whip up an excellent mojito and play some excellent music mostly in the indi vain (depending on the evening).
