Time Out says

It may be called Gordon’s Café, and it is certainly advertised as Gordon’s Café, but a more honest description would be ‘Gordon’s high end dining experience.’ After all, there are not many humble cafes that we can think of in this city which serve such a superb veal Milanese. The explanation for this high quality café is that Gordon’s is part of Le Gray Hotel and so offers the same five-star-experience.

The decor is modern and tasteful, with plenty of class, which attracts Lebanese ‘ladies who lunch’ as well and the sharp-suited men of Downtown. Find them sitting outside on the street tables or huddled around a menu indoors where things are kept simple and fuss-free. Sharing platters tend to be popular and if your budget stretches far enough then split an antipasti board with a companion. The serving of hams, cheeses, olives and focaccia bread is top notch and suitable for an informal business meeting or romantic get together.
