Good weather calls for a nice dinner out on the terrace with a pitcher of margarita and for that there’s no better place than Joe Peña’s. We don’t have a great number of South American restaurants but among that small community Joe’s ranks very highly.
The outdoor terrace has a jungle feel with dark wood furniture and a mass of plants and shrubbery. But it is only when you start to skim the menu do you realise the sheer vastness of the south American undertaking ahead of you. With optional extras there are more than a dozen types of fajita available. Literally hundreds of drink combos and cocktails are available to wash down whatever enchiladas, burritos and tacos you choose to order.
