Ephraim-Palais review

Built in the 15th century, remodelled in late baroque style in the 18th century, demolished by the Communists, and then rebuilt by them close to its original location for the 750th anniversary of Berlin in 1987, the Ephraim-Palais is today home to temporary exhibitions drawn from the city's collection. Soft, chandelier lighting and parquet floors lend them a refined touch.
