On 20 January 1942, a collection of prominent Nazis, chaired by Heydrich, gathered here to draw up plans for the Final Solution, making jokes and sipping brandy as they sorted out the practicalities of genocide. Today, this infamous villa has been converted into the Wannsee Conference Memorial House, a place of remembrance, with a photo exhibit on the conference and its consequences. Call in advance if you want to join an English-language tour otherwise all information is in German.
