Club der Visionäre review

Set on an inlet off the Spree just over the border from Kreuzberg, this popular timbered bar occupies an old boathouse, several floating docks and a decommissioned boat. The totally lo-fi locale is warm and welcoming thanks in no small part to its haphazard, DIY decor. For those in the mood to move their feet, DJs spin minimal techno for the small dancefloor (sometimes it's Ricardo Villalobos at the decks). Most people, however, prefer just to sit under the tree canopy enjoying a casual waterside drink, watching the evening dwindle, or lounging in the Sunday afternoon sun. Later at night, things get more lively.
