Time Out says

5 out of 5 stars

Once the chemist of choice for Kreuzberg junkies scoring their methadone scripts, Ora is today a stylish new bar and coffeehouse on Oranienplatz. Beautifully restored to its mid-century heyday, this spacious former pharmacy boasts a beautiful array of antique medicine jars and bottles which jostle with an impressively-curated selection of spirits, elixirs and potions, to be taken on the comfy chairs and sofas dotted about the place, amidst the pleasantly ancient original pharmacy fixtures and fittings.

As well as the booze, there's an elegant little selection of cakes and bar snacks, soon to be augmented with a full-scale restaurant menu. For now, the hungrier patron can seek solace with tiny, delicious plates, with the likes of fried peaches with green onions, rosemary and ricotta, pulled pork with sour cherry sauce and polenta and zucchini salad with sesame seeds, coriander and ginger. The house sourdough loaves are also delicious.
