Named after the theologian executed by the Nazis for alleged participation in the 1944 Hitler assassination attempt, this hotel sits on a quiet corner behind the Friedrichstadtpalast. It was originally built in 1987 as a meeting place for Christians from East and West; as such, the atmosphere is warm, and the staff helpful. The rooms are large, the breakfast is pretty good and the location is excellent.
