Käthe Kollwitz's powerful, deeply empathetic work embraces the full spectrum of life, from the joy of motherhood to the pain of death (with rather more emphasis on the latter than the former). The collection includes her famous lithograph Brot!, as well as charcoal sketches, woodcuts and sculptures, all displayed to good effect in this grand villa off the Ku'damm.

This is a small museum on three floors that is definately worth a visit. A collection of prints and drawings from Kathe's life that are thought provoking and hauntingly beautiful.
