Shortly before his death in 2004, Berlin-born Helmut Newton donated over 1,000 of his nude and fashion photographs to the city and provided funds towards the creation of a new gallery. The Museum of Photography, doubling as home for the Helmut Newton Foundation (www.helmutnewton.com), was the result. In a former casino, it's now the largest photographic gallery in the city. The first two floors are given over to Newton's work, parcelled up in a series of alternating exhibitions. Further space is devoted to temporary shows by other photographers.
