Kunstgewerbemuseum review Rate it

The Museum of Decorative Art contains a frustrating collection of European arts and crafts, stretching from the Middle Ages through Renaissance, baroque and rococo to Jugendstil and art deco. There are some lovely pieces on display, particularly furniture and porcelain, but labelling is only in German and the layout is confusing.

I was wildly impressed by the museum's excellent collection. It was hard to take in all those extraordinary things in one place. I had to return a second time. For those interested in the applied/decorative arts, this is a museum well worth visiting and visiting again.
