A mix of modern and traditional Sicilian dishes including some excellent seafood - monkfish wrapped in parma ham, grouper in an almond crust on rocket with fried oyster mushroom strips - are served at this tasteful place on leafy Chamissoplatz. Tables outside in summer offer one of central Berlin's most picturesque and peaceable dining spots, but the Sicilian organic wine from the Azienda Agricola G Milazzo, exclusive to Grünfisch, is worth sipping any time of year.

If this was good at one time, it has lost its lustre. I love interesting foods and have had Sicilian food in Sicily. The food here was rather boring and very average. The house wines were quite nice for house wines. Given the critic's choice appelation, however, I was expecting much more.
