This unpretentious schnitzel restaurant and bar, with chunky tables and wood-panelled walls, has become something of a Kreuzberg institution. Breakfast is served up until 5pm, salads from noon, and, in the evening, a selection of filling and reasonably priced meals. It's also fun just to sit at the long bar and sample its selection of grappas. After dinner, see what's on downstairs at the Privat Club.
