Kapelle review Rate it
A comfortable, high-ceilinged café-bar across from the Zionskirch, Kapelle takes its name from Die Rote Kapelle, 'the Red Orchestra'. This was a clandestine anti-fascist organisation and in the 1930s and 1940s the Kapelle's basement was a secret meeting place for the resistance. The regularly changing menu features organic meat and vegetarian dishes, and the proceeds are donated to local charities and social organisations.
