Possibly the most popular bar on Kastanienallee and the main meeting place for those who inhabit the twilight zone between Prenzlauer Berg and Mitte. Odd, then, that its ambience is pretty plain, its staff Berlin surly, and its food and drink of only adequate quality. In summer, the outside tables overflow day and night. In winter, a tolerance for cigarette smoke is helpful.
