'Mother' (or 'nut', as in bolt) tries to do everything at once: two bars; an enormous selection of wines, beers and cocktails; breakfasts until 6pm; a sushi bar from 6pm, plus other snacks throughout the day. It's a big place, but it can be difficult to find a seat on weekend nights, when trancey sounds pulse in the front bar (there is more sedate music in the café area at the back). It's roomy, the decor is heavy on gold paint and the spectacular corridor to the toilets is worth a visit in itself.

Loved this place! Great atmosphere and plenty of outside seating. The Thai food was as good as I've had in Bangkok. Definately worth a visit if you're in Berlin.
