If you want famous actors and a classy location, then this is the place. The Renaissance houses some of Germany's best-known performers. The building is one of only two remaining examples of work by Oskar Kaufmann, premier Berlin theatre architect of the early 20th century, and it claims to be Europe's only art deco theatre. It all makes for a great backdrop to the chansons evenings that are served up with a full dinner in the upstairs salon.
