Although Harpers Ferry has one of the city's best stages and a superior sound system, you might not find much variety or innovation on its jam and tribute band-heavy schedule. Its student-friendly location in Allston and the added attraction of a pool hall to the rear mean that this place can feel more like a sports bar than a bona fide rock club.
