Ashmont Grill

First on the scene of the up-and-coming Ashmont Hill section of Dorchester, this bar and grill lent a bit of class to the neighborhood. The sleek decor, addictive appetizers and tasty entrées keep the locals coming back again and again, but it's the patio space out back that makes the Ashmont Grill worth the trek out to the end of the Red line—the high, vine-coated fence creates a cozy nook for cocktails and conversation.
