One of the country's top regional theatres, the ART has been making waves on the international scene since its inception in 1980. Luminaries such as Philip Glass, Anne Bogart and David Mamet have all worked with the company to produce decidedly edgy world premieres. In 2005, the troupe opened a second venue, the Zero Arrow Theatre. This intimate space plays host to even more experimental works from local alt-luminaries, travelling monologuists and the like.
