Burning yellow candlesticks produce a face-flattering glow - and mesmerising waxy pools on the wooden tabletops - at this displaced institution. But Seddón has settled into its San Telmo skin, attracting a mix of relaxed porteños and travellers who swing by for the house wine and live music on weekend evenings. The darkened interior and antique glass windows create an unassuming look-out point for watching the pavement traffic.
