At downtown's La Cigale, you're as likely to find the Pink Panther being shown on a giant screen as you are live music on the tiny stage, or a minimal-tech DJ tucked behind the blue mosaic bar. It all goes towards keeping week-nights kicking at this bar, which French expatriates prop up on Tuesdays. La Cigale's four happy hours, from 6pm to 10pm, are some of BA's most impressive and well priced, with white Russians, mojitos, blue lagoons and pints of Heineken all two-for-one, at prices from AR$16 to AR$20. Grab a drink from the friendly staff and take your pick of booth or a bar stool to see out your evening. It'll be 3am before you know it.
