Bahrein review

Since its birth in late 2004, Bahrein is one of the most happening clubs in the city. It draws a mixed crowd who flit between the swish top-floor restaurant and chillout area, the more commercial 'Funky Room' and the heavier grooves of the basement's 'XSS'. The owners have kept the features of this converted bank such as the original vaults and ornate chandeliers, adding a certain grandeur. Weekends are perpetually rammed, and come Tuesdays, it hosts to BA's most prominent drum and bass night - '+160' - fronted by the local talent Bad Boy Orange.
