This 1946-vintage hotel is popular with travellers who value a style that was already considered traditional long before anyone put the words 'boutique' and 'hotel' together. The grand Greco-columned entrance leads into the lobby; beyond is a mock-Tudor bar and restaurant. Most of the hotel's 152 rooms are smaller than you'd expect but well decorated.
