Tango and San Telmo go hand in hand and this self-styled 'Residential Tango Academy' - created by Héctor Villalba, globetrotting entrepreneur and tango teacher - fuses attentive service with the spirit of the sensual dance. The 30 rooms of this converted mansion are sumptuously appointed, with lush bedspreads and stately wooden furnishings. The tango theme is exploited throughout, with murals, paintings and ambient music. But it is all about the dancing. Classes in one of three salons are available daily, often led by an invited 'maestro', or sit back and watch one of their shows.
