Named a national monument in 2007, this colonial era building houses six exhibition areas dedicated to San Isidro's rich history and culture. As well as important documents, the exhibits include all kinds of odds and sods donated by important local families over the past couple of centuries - magazines, furniture, toys, paintings and so on. The library holds over 12,000 volumes and is open to both serious historians and the casual browser.
