The Banchero family has three restaurants and has been in the food business since the late 1800s, giving them plenty of time to perfect their craft. Though pizza is their specialty - they invented the 'fugazzeta' by adding mozzarella to the Genovese fugazza (a sauceless pizza topped with caramelised onions, oregano and seasonings) - they also serve traditional Argentinian cuisine, from pastas and empanadas to milanesas (breaded cutlets) and steak.
