Don Julio knows meat. This classic but outstanding parrilla remains true to its food and its neighbourhood, priding itself on an above-average meat selection and an outstanding wine list. Thanks to owner Pablo, who sends his waiters to wine school, your server will know just how to help you choose the cabernet that best complements your bife de chorizo. It's a carnivore's paradise at this traditional, rustic-chic restaurant, where leather tablecloths and exposed brick walls add to the warm atmosphere. Regulars and tourists alike order up hot-of fthe- grill classics, but not to worry if you want to veer of f the, ahem, meaten path. Veggies like the soufflé de cala baza y espinaca con crema de verdeo—a squash and spinach creation that's crispy and savoury.

I had a great meal here. Great steak, perfectly cooked as I'd described. Good salad dressed at the table. Dulch con leche pancakes to die for (end result of eating too many I suspect).
Friendly, helpful, knowledgeable waiter.
Overall good value for money
Lousy experience. Waiter did not listen even though the order was placed in Spanish, forgot my wife's steak entirely and the manager was completely bitchy, even after I corrected a huge error in their favor just to get the hell out of there. Checked with my CC COMPANY AND SHE CHARGED ME FOR THE CORRECT AMOUND AND THE MISTAKEN AMOUNT!!
Empenadas very good. Salad totally boring. Steaks just fair at best.
This place is to be avoided. There are so many other choices.
