Huge platters of technicolour sushi are the main event here, whisked through the bright, modern downtown restaurant past admiring diners to their destination table. Give it a try, but look closely at the menu too, since there's a page of hot noodle and rice dishes just crying out for your attention - and they're good.

The yakuidon dish, consisting of fat udon noodles wok-cooked with slivers of mushroom, beef and savoury vegetables, is a delicious choice, albeit too much for one person; and members of the no-carb brigade will find the shoga yaki ginger soy pork with salad as stimulating and enjoyable as well-turned haiku. Wash it down with a litre of Asahi (AR$29), or settle for Imperial at AR$18; but save space. We all know that eating yellow snow is wrong; and the 'Ginger Snow Cheese' moniker might also give you pause for thought. But trust us: eat it. Consisting of lemon sorbet and cheesecake icecream studded with bits of fresh fruit and candied ginger and lemon, it's one of the best desserts we've had in BA.
