This pea-sized trattoria is the kind of place one always looks for but rarely finds in Italy. With every inch of the letterbox-red walls plastered in movie poster kitsch, featuring real Italians (Mastroanni and Caruso) alongside honorary ones (John Lennon and Sammy Davis Jr), Guido's is as much an evocation of an era as it is a culture. But there's nothing tongue-in-cheek about owner Carlos's passion for Italian food.
