Reinforced stitching, leather lining and bronze eyelets are hallmarks of a wellmade shoe and hark back to an era when footwear was made with durability in mind. And that's exactly the ethos of this company, which bases its designs on original 1950s sports footwear. With rubber soles and a multitude of colours, these leather shoes and lace-up boots will appeal to fans of Camper's classic 'Pelotas'.

I bought a pair of high tops last November and I love them. I've gotten many positive comments about them. I tried on five or six pairs before I found the pair I bought. I am quite happy with the quality of the workmanship and the style.

These are great shoes that are extremely well made. Bought a pair while in BA last month(Nov 12). Expensive yes, but you get what you pay for. If cared for properly, they can last a lifetime because a shoemaker can replace soles and repair if necessary. Most modern made shoes are made to discard. Not these ones. Bravo!

But it would be nice to tell the price...
