At Jikeleza, children from marginalised communities and rehabilitated street children are initiated into the secrets of dancing. Dance genres taught range from African and Spanish to contemporary and ballet. The project's learners have graced stages across the city, and put on a big show at On Broadway every year. Past students have gone on to have bright futures as professional dancers and dance teachers. Spirited founding member Edmund Thwaites is as proud of his pupils as if they were his own children and would be more than happy to show you around.
