For an authentic taste of Cape Malay food, head to Biesmiellah's for samosas, potato half moons and chilli bites, followed by meat-in-spicy-sauce mains like lamb denningvleis or mild chicken kalya. Since wine is traditionally taboo, accompany the spicy dishes with a glass of rose-flavoured falooda - a drink made of rose syrup with vermicelli and tapioca.

Average food, nothing special, small portions, totally overpriced for what you get. The only surprise was the added service fee that was nowhere mentioned on the menu
