Kalk Bay Theatre review Rate it
A historic Dutch Reformed Church in the colourful fishing village of Kalk Bay now houses one of the city's favourite independent theatres. The venue only has room for 78 punters and the ensuing sense of intimacy is an enormous part of its appeal. Top theatre personalities have graced this tiny stage in productions ranging from one- and two-man plays to magic shows, comedy acts and children's theatre. Tuesday nights are reserved for the improv antics of Cape Town's favourite Theatre Sports troupe.
